A couple sustained severe burn injuries after their air-conditioner exploded at their home in Uttara on early Tuesday, police said.
The victims were named as Alamgir Bhuiyan, 50, and Bilkis Baby, 40, reports UNB.
"Alamgir and Bilkis suffered 95 percent burns in the explosion that took place around 3am," said Inspector Bacchu Mia of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp.
They are being treated at the DMCH burn unit.
