A Dhaka court has summoned star cricketer Shakib Al Hasan in an IFIC Bank cheque fraud case. The court ordered him to appear before it on January 18.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubul Haque issued the order on Wednesday.
On Dec 15, Shakib Al Hasan was named in a cheque fraud case, said Khandaker Shahriar Alam, a court clerk. The court issued a summons for Shakib after the hearing on Wednesday.
Shahibur Rahman filed the case with the court on Dec 15.
