The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) says it is deeply saddened by the passing of Mrs Niloufer Manzur, a renowned educationist and founding principal of Sunbeams School, according to a condolence message Wednesday.
“With her demise, the country has lost a luminaire and a torchbearer who chose to change the lives of our children by bringing out their best and instilling confidence and values in them,” the think-tank said in the statement.

She has left behind a legacy that will continue to enlighten the country for generations, it said.
Mrs Niloufer, who died of COVID-19 at the age of 74 on Tuesday, was the wife of Mr Syed Manzur Elahi, Treasurer, CPD Board of Trustees and Chairman, Apex Group.
