BGB detains four suspected hundi traders at Benapole

Four suspected hundi traders were detained with Tk 1 million from Amrakhali area of Benapole by Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Monday night.

The detainees are Saheb Ali, 26, son of Insan Ali; Shipon Das, 38, son of Mantu Das; Polash, 35, son of Samsuddin; and Mohibur Rahman, 35, son of Amrakhali village.

Nayeb Subedar Abdul Malek of Amrakhali BGB camp said they checked Barishal-bound bus of 'MM Paribahan' acting on a tip-off and detained the four hundi traders with money.

According to a news agency report, the four men were handed over to the Benapole Port Police Station.
