They arrived at Plot No. 21 on Road No. 108 at nearly 8:30am on Saturday after receiving reports and found the victims lying in a pool of blood.

The dead are Rafiqul Islam, 62, the caretaker of the plot, and his assistant Sabbir Hossain, 16.

Rafiqul was a resident of Dabdobiya village in Barisal's Sadar Upazila, while Sabbir hailed from Bepari Para in Rayganj Bazaar of Mymensingh Gauripur.

Gulshan Police Station chief Touhid Ahmed said that they discovered the two dead at the scene.

He also said police is sending the bodies to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination after preparing the inquest report.

The plot belongs to Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad, according to Touhid.
