BSTI fines five gas stations for weight manipulation

Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) on Thursday fined five gas stations a total of Tk 205,000 for their involvement in weight manipulation and using outdated underground storage tank.

A mobile court, led by Executive Magistrate of Dhaka District Administration Tajowar Akram Sakapi Ibne Sajjad conducted the drive at Uttara in the evening.

BSTI also realised the money on spot.  

The business establishments are: Nikunjoo Model Service in Kilkhet, Cosmo Filling Station in Uttara, RSR Filling Station in Uttara, Uttara Filling Station, and Tasin Filling Station in Abdullapur.
