Bullet-riddled body of RAB official found at his office in Ctg

The bullet-riddled body of a senior assistant superintendent of police working at Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) in Chattogram was found at his office in the port city on Wednesday.

The victim was identified as Palash Saha (37), an officer of the 37th BCS (Police) cadre, and the son of the late Binoy Saha of Kotalipara in Gopalganj district.

The RAB member's body was recovered from the third floor of Chandgaon RAB-7 camp in Chattogram at 1:30 pm on Wednesday.

Confirming the incident, Chattogram Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Amirul Islam said, "The police went to the spot and recovered the body. A note was found at the spot. We are investigating everything."
