Court sets June 10 for order on charge sheet acceptance against PK Halder

A Dhaka court will take a decision on acceptance of the charge sheet brought against former managing director of NRB Global Bank Proshanta Kumar Halder alias PK Halder in a money embezzlement case on June 10, local news portals said.

On January 24, 2021, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case against 23 people, including PK Halder, over embezzlement of Tk 708.2 million from International Leasing and Financial Services Limited (ILFSL).

The ACC filed the charge sheet in the case on April 29.

On Tuesday, Judge Mohammad Ash-Shams Joglul Hossain of Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge's Court set June 10 for passing order on acceptance of the charge sheet.
