Doctor found dead in Dhaka home after burglars tie him up

A homeopathic doctor has died after burglars broke into his house and tied him up in the Rajabazar area in Dhaka.

The incident occurred on Monday night at a second-floor flat at 58/1 Rajabazar.

The victim was identified as Anwar Ullah, 66, reports bdnews24.com.

According to police, a group of burglars entered the flat and tied his hands and feet. They also wrapped a cloth around his face.

Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station chief Monirul Islam said, “He was tied up by the burglars, and his face was covered, which led to his death.”

The body has been taken to Square Hospital, he added.
