Former Food Minister Advocate Qamrul Islam was placed on a four-day remand in two separate cases filed with Kamrangirchar Police Station.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Belal Hossain passed the order when he was produced before the court on Wednesday, as per a UNB report.
Two investigating officers of the case Zahid Hasan and Palash Chandra Das produced him before the court with 10-day remand prayer in each case.
