Police have recovered the bodies of four members of the same family from Mirpur 11’s Wapda Bihari Camp in Dhaka’s Pallabi Thana.
AKM Alamgir Jahan, chief of Pallabi Police Station, said police went to a home and recovered the bodies after they were reported around 11am.
The bodies were those of a couple and their two children, reports bdnews24.com.
Police and the CID Crime Scene Unit are at the scene. The bodies will be sent to the hospital morgue once the Surathal (Unnatural Death) Report is ready.
Citing neighbours, the police say the family was in debt. They believe the couple may have killed their children and died by suicide out of despair.
