Police have recovered the throat-slit body of a man from his own house in Naria Para village of Netrokona Sadar.
The deceased was identified as Helal Uddin, 60, son of the late Ashrab Uddin of the same village. Helal was a farmer.
He had been sleeping in his room with his wife, Bedena Akhter. Early in the morning, when she woke up to answer nature’s call, she found her husband slaughtered.
Being informed, the police recovered the body and sent it to the Netrokona morgue for autopsy.
Netrokona Model Police Station Officer-In-Charge (OC) Md Al Mamun Sarkar said they are investigating the motive and working to identify the culprits.
