A minor girl was reportedly violated by a pervert man for nearly two months at Dagarmora in Savar municipality area.
Enamul Haq, sub-inspector of Savar Model Police Station, said Milon, a tiles worker, used to violate the 10-year-old girl for last two months.
On Wednesday night, when Milon tried to violate the girl she raised hue and cried for help.
Later, the victim's family informed the matter to police who rescued the girl, reports UNB.
The victim was sent to the one stop crisis centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said the OC.
However, police could not arrest Milon as he remains absconding following the incident.
