Miscreants stab BNP leader in Sylhet

A local BNP leader was stabbed by miscreants at Shahi Eidgah area in Sylhet on Sunday night.

The injured is Sazzad Hossain, 45, son of Tayeb Ali, a committee member of city BNP.

Mohammad Abdul Wahab, Additional Deputy Commissioner (media) of Sylhet Metropolitan Police, said that a gang of miscreants attacked Sazzad in the area around 8pm and stabbed him, leaving him injured.

The injured is now undergoing treatment at Sylhet M A G Osmani Medical College and Hospital, reports UNB.
