Khandaker Mustaque Ahmed, a former donor member of the Management Committee of Ideal School and College in the Motijheel area of Dhaka, has secured permanent bail in a case filed over the allegation of luring and marrying a student of the school without the consent of her family.
The judge of Dhaka's Women and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal-8 granted the bail on Monday, according to local news portals.
Meanwhile, Fawzia Rashedi, principal of Ideal School and College in Motijheel, also secured bail from the court. She was accused of aiding Khandaker Mustaque Ahmed in luring and marrying the student.
The police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) was supposed to submit a probe report before the court on Monday. After failure to submit the report, the court asked the PBI to submit the report on June 2.
