

Miscreants hurled two crude bombs at a Grameen Bank branch in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur district early Sunday.
Although no one was injured, the bank’s signboard was damaged in the attack, UNB reports.
Area Manager Md Abdur Razzak said the branch manager and four staff members were asleep inside the bank after finishing their daily work when a loud bang around 2:15 am woke them up.
Upon stepping outside, they discovered the two petrol bombs.
Officer-in-charge Md Abdul Bari of Sreepur Police Station said the authorities are investigating the attack and working to arrest those responsible.
