Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Tuesday night arrested five suspected members of an international smuggling gang along with around 11 kg of gold from Gabtoli area in the city.
The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.
Senior ASP of RAB-2 Robiul Islam said being tipped off they arrested the five smugglers while they were going to Jashore at 9:00pm and seized around 11 kg of gold from their shoes, reports UNB.
