RAB nabs 29 suspected drug traders in Sylhet

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested 29 drug traffickers including six females along with huge cache of drugs in Sylhet city.

A team of RAB-9 led by its Commanding Officer Lt Colonel Azad conducted the drive at Kashtoghar Sweeper Colony at around 6:30 pm on Saturday and arrested them, said a RAB press release.

The team recovered large amounts of narcotics including yaba pills, marijuana, liquor and Tk 5,63,253 cash, UNB reported.

RAB members after filling the confiscation handed the arrestees to Kotwali Police Station.
