Antar Islam, a teenager, who was found dead in a litchi orchard in Sadar upazila on Friday, was killed over his aunt's extramarital affairs.
Farhat Ahmed, superintendent of Thakurgaon Police, said police on Saturday night detained prime suspect Rafiq, an employee of local land office, Antar's aunt Lutfa Begum, 29, Rafiq's friend Shahin in this connection,reports UNB
Police said Antar, 18, a rickshaw van puller, came to know about illegitimate relationship of his aunt and captured some videos on his mobile phone. Then, he demanded Tk 50,000 from Rafiq, the alleged boyfriend of his aunt.
Rafiq made a plan with his friend Shahin to kill Antar and called him in the litchi orchard and stabbed him to death on Thursday night, said the police super.
