Two held with fake currency notes in Khulna's Fultola

Detectives have arrested two persons and seized fake currency notes with a face value of Tk 38,000 from their possession in Jamira Bazar area of Khulna's Fultola upazila.

The arrestees are Anisur Rahman, 26, son of Abdul Aziz, hailing from Satkhira district, and Abul Hossain, son of Mozammel Talukder of Tala upazila, according to a UNB report Monday.

Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch of police conducted a drive at the bazaar at around 8:30pm on Sunday and arrested the duo along with the counterfeit currencies, said Lutfar Rahman, sub-inspector of district DB Branch.
