Woman’s bullet-hit body found on Dhaka-Mawa highway

Police recovered the bullet-hit body of an unidentified woman from the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Sreenagar upazila of Munshiganj district on Saturday.

Five bullet casings were found next to the body of the young woman from the service road of the expressway around 8:00 am, as per media reports.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body and sent it to Munshiganj General Hospital for autopsy.

Qayyum Uddin Chowdhury, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sreenagar Police Station, said that they are collecting footage from the surrounding area for investigation.
