A man was shot dead during a clash over establishing supremacy at Geneva Camp in the Mohammadpur area of Dhaka on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Sonu (32), an auto-rickshaw driver, according to media reports.
The incident took place at the college gate area of the camp around 7:45 am when miscreants fired indiscriminately.
Injured Sonu was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at about 9:00 am where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
Md Faruk, in charge of the DMCH police outpost, the body has been kept in the hospital morgue for autopsy.
