Members of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit on Tuesday arrested the person who threatened to kill Member of Parliament, Barrister Syed Syedul Haque Sumon.
Sohag was arrested from Habiganj district, a local daily newspaper reports.
CTTC Unit Head Additional Police Commissioner Md. Asaduzzaman said Barrister Sumon filed a general diary regarding the death threats.
CTTC started a shadow investigation into this incident. Later, based on the information obtained with the help of information technology, the accused Sohag was arrested in a raid in Habiganj.
