The detective branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested a man with 5000 pieces contraband yaba pills in the capital on Thursday.
The arrestee was identified as Md Mostafa, 23, a suspected member of yaba smuggling group.
The detectives detained the man from Mirpur-11 under Pallabi police station and sized the drugs.
A case was lodged with the police station.
