Three policemen were withdrawn in connection with the death of a youth in a clash between police and villagers at Bhatiari in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong on Wednesday night.
The policemen are- sub-inspector Najmul Huda, constable Abul Kalam and ansar member Ismail Hossain.
Meanwhile, a three-member probe committee was formed, said Nur-e Alam Mina, superintendent of Chittagong Police.
According to UNB, action will be taken after receiving the probe report, said the SP.
Saiful Islam, 22, was shot dead and two others were wounded in police firing during a clash between police and villagers at Bhatiari in Sitakunda upazila of the district on Wednesday night.
