Dhaka Medical College suspends academic activities till Nov 29 amid quake fear


Dhaka Medical College has suspended all academic activities until November 29 amid fear following the recent earthquakes.
A notice, signed by Prof Dr Md Kamrul Alam, Principal of Dhaka Medical College, was issued in this regard on Sunday, UNB reports.
According to the notice, an emergency meeting of the Academic Council of Dhaka University has postponed all professional MBBS examinations until November 29 after several earthquakes jolted the country.
To ease students’ mental stress and allow them to meet their families, Dhaka Medical College authorities will also keep their academic activities suspended until November 29, it said.
The notice further said that academic activities will resume as usual from November 30.
