Veteran Dhallywood actor Masum Parvez Rubel and eight others were injured in a road accident on Saturday morning (November 16) in Madaripur district.
The incident took place at Samaddar on the Dhaka-Barishal highway.
According to local journalists, Rubel's private car was severely damaged in the crash. However, details about the actor's condition could not be known immediately.
Rubel debuted as the leading actor in the action film ‘Ladaku’ in 1986.
