The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has chalked out a number of programmes to celebrate its 44th founding anniversary on Wednesday in the capital city.
DMP has arranged a Citizen Reception programme at 3:00pm marking the anniversary. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan is scheduled to address the event at Rajarbagh Police Lines as chief guest while inspector general of police Mohammad Javed Patwary as the special guest.
The celebration also includes a grand procession, documentary on DMP, and its activities and cultural programme, said a statement of DMP.
