The Traffic Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,636 cases for traffic rules violation during a drive conducted in different areas of the capital on Tuesday.
As part of the drive, authorities also dumped 128 vehicles and towed 39 others, reports UNB citing a DMP press release issued on Wednesday.
The DMP’s Traffic Department vowed to continue such enforcement drives.
