DMP files 934 cases, fines Tk 3.59 million for traffic violations

Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 934 cases and realized Taka 35,90,500 as fine in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.
The cases were filed and fines imposed on September 30, BSS reports citing a press release.
During the drive, a total of 118 vehicles were impounded and 117 others towed. The DMP release further said these drives will continue to bring discipline on Dhaka's streets.
