Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has been conducting mobile courts across capital to check that people do not come out of their homes unnecessarily amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) shutdown.
A DMP team, headed by its executive magistrate Saiful Islam, conducted a mobile court on Thursday and fined different people including motorcyclists and shop owners for violating the rules at Jatrabari, Lalbag and Gulshan areas of Dhaka.
Law enforcement agencies and Bangladesh Army are helping people to maintain social distancing strictly aiming to stem the spread of the coronavirus outbreak across the country.
