DSCC opens control room to prevent dengue

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) on Thursday opened a control room to supplement the efforts for containing outbreak of the dengue disease.

DSCC Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh formally inaugurated the control room at a function at the Nagar Bhaban.

He said the control room will monitor overall activities of the city corporation to destroy breeding grounds of Aedes mosquito, which eventually will contribute to combat the mosquito-borne disease.
