Seven Colleges: DU hands over responsibilities to Central Univ

Dhaka University (DU) has formally handed over all administrative, academic, and financial responsibilities along with information of the government seven colleges to the authority of the proposed Central University.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Niaz Ahmed Khan handed over the documents to newly-appointed Administrator of Central University Prof AKM Elias on Thursday.
A press release issued by Dhaka University's public relations office said that the separation of the seven colleges from Dhaka University was finally completed through the handover.
Pro-VC (Administration) Prof. Sayema Haque Bidisha, Pro-VC (Education) Prof. Mamun Ahmed, and college principals along with others were present during the handover ceremony.
Prof. Niaz Ahmed Khan thanked everyone involved in the separation process and wished the newly-proposed university a success.
