The Dhaka University has announced a three-day suspension of classes and exams in preparation for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall council elections.
The announcement came in a media statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, all classes and exams will be on hold from Sunday, Sept 7, to Wednesday, Sept 10.
Earlier on Aug 24, the left-leaning coalition panel Protirodh Parshad had demanded that all examinations be postponed between Sept 5 and Sept 11 while classes remain open before and after the polls.
As per the election schedule, voting for the DUCSU elections will be held on Sept 9.
