About 70 per cent of votes have been cast in the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election, the vice chancellor has said.
Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan told reporters of the figure after visiting three polling centres at the university’s Senate Bhaban around 3pm on Monday.
He added that voting would continue until 4pm, and students already waiting in line would still be allowed to cast their ballots after the deadline.
