The Election Commission (EC) has sought Tk 5,921 crore for the upcoming 13th National Elections and various local government elections.
Of this, about Tk 2,800 crore may be spent on the National Elections, said KM Ali Newaz, Additional Secretary of EC .
The EC's demand letter was obtained from the minutes of the Election Commission's medium-term budget estimates for the three fiscal years.
