Election timing statements by any adviser other than chief adviser are 'personal': Press Wing

The statements of any adviser other than the chief adviser or his office regarding the timing of the 14th general election are personal, the chief adviser’s press wing has said.

So far, no election timing has been announced by the chief adviser or his office, said Apurba Jahangir, deputy press secretary to the chief adviser, at a press conference on Friday, as a reporter asked when the election would be held and cited that an adviser recently said in London that it might be held in mid-2026.
