A case was filed against eminent Supreme Court lawyer ZI Khan Panna recently on an allegation of injuring a youth, Ahadul Islam, during an anti-discrimination student movement on July 19.
Md Baker, 52, filed the case with Khilgaon police station in Dhaka on October 17, accusing ZI Khan Panna, the chairperson of human rights body Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), local news portals said.
The plaintiff has mentioned 180 people, including ZI Khan Panna and current Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, as accused in the case.
