Police arrested ASM Feroz, former chief whip of the national parliament, from Dhaka’s Banani on Friday night.
The media and public relations division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police confirmed this, according to local media.
However, it could not be known in which case he was arrested.
Feroz, also the then lawmaker from Patuakhali-2 constituency, served as chief whip of the 10th parliament from 29 January 2014 to 28 January 2019
