The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested former reserved seat MP Sabina Akter Tuhin from Nawabganj upazila of Dhaka.
Joint Commissioner of DB (North) Mohammad Rabiul Hossain Bhuiyan said a DB team from the Wari division detained Sabina Akter Tuhin early Monday from her village home in Nawabganj based on specific allegations, reports UNB.
She faces multiple cases involving corruption, incitement to political violence and conspiracy against the state, he added.
