After 22 days, three ferries have started plying on the Kanthalbari-Shimulia route on limited experimental basis.
On Friday morning, the ferry Comilla and the ferry Faridpur left from Shimulia Ghat and reached Kanthalbari Ghat. Besides, the ferry from Kanthalbari Ghat left for Kakli Shimulia Ghat.
However, the speedboat movement is normal like before, but launch is being interrupted from time to time due to the naval crisis.
Transport drivers and passengers demanded that the wharf should be open from now on. Otherwise, the passengers of the southern region will suffer day after day.
