A man and his son were killed as a covered van rammed their motorbike at Chattogram’s Kadamtoli in the city on Friday night.
The victims are - Md Sagir, 42, a grocery shop owner and his son Md Junayed, 12, a class five student of Agrabad Ganapurto Bidya Niketan School, reports UNB.
Md Jahir Hossain, sub-inspector of Double Mooring Police Station, said that the accident took place at around 11:45pm in front of Dhonialapara mosque when the covered van smashed the motorcycle carrying the duo, leaving them dead on the spot.
