FCC, three other press bodies urge interim government to end harassment of journalists

The Foreign Correspondents' Club of South Asia (FCC), along with the Press Club of India (PCI), the Indian Women's Press Corps (IWPC), and the Press Association (PA), has expressed deep concern over the harassment of Bangladeshi journalists and the restrictions placed upon them.

In a letter addressed to Dr Muhammad Yunus, head of the interim government of Bangladesh, the organisations highlighted their "collective anguish" over what they described as the "selective harassment" of media personnel in Bangladesh.
