The Financial Express (FE), Bangladesh’s first and leading business daily, has celebrated the 31st anniversary of its publication.
FE Editor Shamsul Huq Zahid, flanked by the English newspaper’s clients, journalists, officers and employees, cut a cake to mark the anniversary on Sunday at its conference room in capital’s Purana Paltan area.
Senior executives from different banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, corporate houses, business firms and agencies joined the celebration.
The entities included Janata Bank, Agrani Bank, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Islami Bank, AB Bank, Social Islami Bank, Premier Bank, Mercantile Bank, Community Bank, Citizen Bank, Chartered Life Insurance Co, bKash, and Annex Communication.
On this occasion, the daily brought out the first of its three-part special supplement on the day.
The supplement carried thought-provoking analyses, commentaries and articles on national and global economic, political, social and other contemporary issues.
The FE stepped into the 32nd year of publication on November 10, 2024, reaffirming its commitment to fair and objective journalism.
