A fire broke out at Baitul Mukarram market in the city on Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out on the ground floor of the market around 11:40 am and spread soon, said a duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defense control room, UNB reported.
On information, four firefighting units rushed to spot and doused the blaze, according to local media.
