A fire broke out at Rajdhahi Supermarket in the city’s Tikatoli area on Wednesday evening.
The fire broke out around 5:15pm, burning down a number of shops already, said Polash Chandra Modok, duty officer at the Fire Service headquarters.
He said 22 firefighting units rushed to the spot and were trying to put out the blaze, reports UNB.
