A fire broke out at a residential building adjacent to Suvastu Tower in Dhaka’s Badda area on Thursday.
Khaleda Yeasmin, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters, said the fire broke out on the 4th floor of the six-story building around 2:36 pm and spread soon.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 3:08 pm, reports UNB.
The origin of the fire and extent of the damage could not be known immediately.
