The fire that broke out at a kitchen market in the capital’s Uttara Sector 11 on Wednesday evening has been brought under control.
The blaze started at around 5:38 pm and was brought under control at around 6:08 pm, Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Rakibul Hasan confirmed to the media.
Three firefighting units reached the spot and worked to douse the fire, he said.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained immediately.
