A fire gutted a tissue bag factory and a chemical warehouse in Chulkutia Begunbari area of South Keraniganj on Saturday morning.
Senior Station Officer of Keraniganj Fire Service Kajol Mia said the fire erupted around 11am, apparently due to an electrical short circuit, UNB reports.
Three units of the fire service brought the blaze under control after 30 minutes of effort, he added.
No casualties were reported.
