Former army officer Ziaul Ahsan has been arrested in connection with a murder case filed with the New Market Police Station in the capital.
He was arrested today (Friday) in the same case that also involves former Law Minister Anisul Huq and Salman F Rahman, the private investment and industry adviser to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, a local daily newspaper reported, citing an official of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
According to the official, Ziaul was taken to the Detective Branch (DB) office this morning.
